1. Cha - tea (from Mandarin Chinese)
In Thai, the word for tea is cha.
2. Guru - spiritual teacher, mentor, leader
(from Sanskrit). In Thai, one of the words for teacher is
khru.
3. Nainsook - a soft, light cotton material,
often with a woven stripe (from Hindi nainsukh, pleasant: nain, eye
(from Sanskrit) + sukh, pleasure (from Sanskrit). In Thai, the word
for happiness is khwam sukh.
